Applications

  • As wear protection for soft materials such as steel, copper and aluminium. PlanoTek HCN offers a 5-fold increase in hardness and thus enables a significantly longer service life for moulds and tools.
  • For dimension correction to final dimensions. With PlanoTek HCN, precise coating thicknesses of 1-50 µm can be applied to maintain tight tolerances.
  • As protection against hot gas corrosion. PlanoTek HCN is resistant up to a temperature of 1125°C.
  • As a coating for machine and special machine construction as well as measurement technology. The high hardness and wear resistance predestine PlanoTek HCN for these applications.
