DEMARTIN bright chrome
Gloss chrome coatings provide an aesthetic surface with a shiny finish and a smooth surface. They improve the appearance of products while providing corrosion protection and durability.
Bright chrome coatings are primarily used as decorative coatings. They are usually applied in a layer system with nickel, copper/nickel or double nickel. The coatings are characterised by high hardness. They also have tribological advantages and a very low coefficient of friction. The corrosion resistance of chrome is further improved by the low wettability of aqueous solutions and oil. Bright chrome coatings are also characterised by their good reflectivity.
Our options:
Nickel/bright chrome coating system: up to 2600 mm in length and up to 250 kg

- Bright chrome plating is carried out in very thin
- layers, usually 0.2 to 0.5 μm. The first prerequisite for bright
- chrome plating is the presence of a perfectly shiny substrate. Nickel is used as such in most cases.
